Sushi Chef

We have been a successful business operation to provide local customers a unique experience that can be enjoyed by our Japanese cuisine. This is a full-time permanent position for Greenmeadows New World in Napier and Hawks bay. We are expecting someone who has ability to multitask and passion for Japanese food, such as Sushi.
Postilion Duties and requirements:
>Available to work on a seven-day roster with early morning starts. We work on flexible rosters
>Enthusiasm in achieving quality kitchen and food standard. Excellent communicator with strong work ethic and a positive attitude
>Following existing recipes and being able to create new menu to customers
>Ensure all equipment is operated according to site standards
>Ensure all health and safety rules, standards and policies are adhered, including reporting any incidents
>Ensuring high quality of all food
>Ensure for hygiene standards in the kitchen, storage room, refrigerators and work areas
>Ensure for the personal hygiene and grooming standards. Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene at all times
>Actively maintain Food Safety, cleaning and hygiene standards. Maintain a neat and tidy appearance in the kitchen
>Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
>Work out what materials, supplies and equipment are needed to meet production goals
>Ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients
>Managing the store, maintaining and ordering stocks and menu planning
We need a food related industrial qualification for developing new menu
Applicants for this role must have two years of provable experience in a similar role.
