NZCare Disability is part of Healthcare of New Zealand and provides services to people with disabilities all across New Zealand; our aim being to maximise someone's independence and quality of life.
This vacancy is for residential services supporting a group of female clients in Nelson and we have full-time, part-time or casual hours available over a 24-hour period on a two week rotating roster. This would also include working overnight.
What does a Support Worker do?
Our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including providing assistance with personal care, community outings and other aspects of daily living - enabling our clients to be as independent as possible.
