About the Role Piwakawaka House, located in Halswell, is seeking a new team member to join their dynamic household that is home to three gentlemen, each diagnosed with autism. These individuals thrive on structure, routine, and active participation in household activities. Despite their unique personalities, they greatly value the presence of their caregivers and flatmates. Notably, one of the residents is visually impaired and requires additional assistance. The residents of Piwakawaka House enjoy engaging in various activities together, including attending festivals and honing their skills to foster independence within their home environment. This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $22.70 and $28.25 per hour.
