Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent, full-time and part-time options on offer.We are looking for Community Support Workers who can work Friday to Tuesday between 7am to 7pm and are willing to travel around Ormond and Ngatapa, along with Inner Kaiti, outer Kaiti.What does a Support Worker do?As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community.
You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Home managementWhat's in it for you?We are committed to our employees and are proud to employ and train the best people in all areas of our organisation.
We provide a career pathway for staff through the learning and development framework to achieve NZQA qualifications, which are fully funded.
You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.This is an opportunity to join New Zealand's largest community healthcare provider with the potential to gain experience in a variety of disciplines including aged care, disability, mental health and rehabilitation.
