What does a Support Worker do?
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting individuals with their day to day activities such as personal cares, supporting with meals, household management tasks, supporting to appointments, as well as supporting on community outings and activities. You will need to be available to work after school or during the weekend.
Experience working with individuals who live with a disability will be an advantage, but more important to us will be your genuine love for working with people in order to experience life to the fullest.
You will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best personal care.
A full driver's licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential.
