Part Time & Casual - afternoons (after 3pm) and/or weekendsWhat the role is about:
We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic and/or experience support workers to make a real difference in the lives of people and their whanau in and around the Auckland area. Our aim is to support people with disabilities in their home and community environment to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, and to maximize their independence.
As a support worker you will be working with children and young adults, from many different cultures, supporting and encouraging them in their daily living situation, in their own home or community. Supporting them to build relationships and develop their personal interests.We are looking for people with the following skills: Empathy for others and a genuine desire to help people. Ability to adapt to various situations whilst still providing excellent service. The availability to work afternoons (after 3pm) and/or weekends The ability to speak another language eg Te Reo, Samoan, Niuan or Tongan would be an advantage but not essential. A current NZ driving licence and reliable mode of transport Working for us:
