The Role;
We seek a highly motivated Support Worker to join our Napier team. The hours for this position are permanent, 40 hours per week working Monday to Sunday. You must be willing to work Mondays to Sundays. Work shifts are 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 9:30am to 6:00pm and 11:30am to 8:00pm, as part of a fortnightly rolling roster.
You'll be confident in supporting activities of daily living and community participation, focusing on client strengths. You will be able to support clients with goal planning, implement best practice interventions and strategies
You'll need:
A minimum of a Level 4 mental health related qualification or the willingness to obtain this
Good time management and organisational skills
To be culturally respective and non-judgemental
See potential in people and thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
Strong professional boundaries
The ability to easily build professional relationships with our tangata whaiora
To have the right to work in New Zealand.
