About the role
The team in Nelson are looking for an energetic and motivated individual(s) to join and support a range of people with an intellectual disability. In this role you will be working with people at different stages of their lives starting from young adults, to achieve greater independence and be part of their community.
We currently havepart-time weekend roles available

What you will be doing:
You will be teaching people we support the life skills they require to help them achieve greater independence
Building and maintaining strong relationships within the community
Supporting people with basic household duties, meal preparation, medication oversight and personal cares
Requirements:
Flexibility to work across a rotating fortnightly roster, including weekends and sleepovers
Have a Full NZ drivers' licence or be able to gain it within 3 months
Pass a full New Zealand Police check
Legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand for at least 10 months
