Healthcare Support Worker

We are looking for Support Workers to provide cares for a variety of clients:
Rostered shifts available in Massey, Hobsonville, Ranui, Huapai & Taupaki
Permanent shifts starting ASAP - Monday to Sunday
Part-time vacancies with guaranteed hours available

What is involved in the role of a Support Worker?
Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
Household tasks – cleaning, vacuuming, laundry etc
Meal Preparation
Personal care – showering, toileting, dressing etc
Medication oversight – prompting/supervising clients with medication
Mobility assistance – assisting client’s mobility with walking frames, hoists etc
Dependent on each client's care plan. We enable clients to have the opportunity to succeed at the activities of daily living which promote dignity, self-respect and maintaining the clients quality of life and abilities.

You have reliable transport with a clean & current NZ driver's license
Ability to establish rapport with individual clients and relate to their families/whanau
Good oral and communication skills
Good health & fitness
Mobile phone
No formal qualification is necessary, however, a certificate in health & well being is an advantage
You must have the right to work in New Zealand and you will be required to undergo police vetting and additional checks in order to be considered for this position.
