As a Support Officer, you play a key role that provides administrative and secretarial support to the Community Boards in Christchurch, the Council's Community Governance Teams, and local communities.
You will be an enthusiastic and energetic self-starter with a proven background in administration. You must show initiative, have excellent attention to detail, great computer skills (including Microsoft Office suite) and proven experience in preparing and putting documents on the web. Knowledge of Infocouncil would be an advantage. You will also have an interest in working at a community level and your relationship-building skills will be well developed.
Our ideal person will be one who is highly organised, task-oriented, a quick learner and who is able to produce consistently high standards of work within tight timeframes.

Salary: $48,693 - $61,276 per annum
Location: This role will be based at Fendalton Service Centre 3 days per week and the Civic Offices for 2 days per week.
