Lockheed Martin Global Incorporated (LMGI) New Zealand commenced service support operations in New Zealand in July 2010. Lockheed Martin currently operates from five sites throughout NZ; being Trentham, Palmerston North, Burnham, Wellington and Waiouru. Our primary customers are the NZ Defence Force, NZ Police, NZ Fire Service and various other government, local government and private sector organisations. As LMGI continues to expand, there is the need to fill this vacant Fleet Section Lead role, located at Waiouru.
The Section Lead reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager and is supported by team leads in the various departments and takes into consideration potential growth within the site.
The scope of the Supply Chain Section Lead is to manage output of all supply chain functions, which includes warehousing, production and handling teams.
You are required to:
•Ensure schedules are delivered on time through planning, resourcing, prioritising and monitoring workloads and required delivery dates.
•Manage and monitor the warehousing and distribution services to ensure tasks are being conducted effectively and to the demand standards in order to meet our targeted metrics and successfully pass audit processes.
