As the Supply Chain Manager, you will:In conjunction with the McAlpine Hussmann Management team, continuously implement, influence, and drive the Business Strategies and vision by maximizing the long-term profitability and sustainability relating to the Supply Chain functions.Plan, manage, and oversee all activities related to sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and inventory control of all supply requirements to meet the changing level of demand for the business units.Plan, manage, and oversee all activities related to the S&OP function coordinating the supply, manufacture, and sales/contracts/servicing areas.Plan, manage, and oversee all activities related to the logistics requirements of the company to meet the changing level of demand for the business units.Provide senior leadership and accountability in the Supply Chain departments to deliver an optimized stable platform and exceed internal and external customer expectations.Minimize stock hold and create material savings while ensuring there is an accurate inventory count of all stock.
This will include the management of all parts, service, general, contract, and finished goods with their respective suppliers.
Lead all warehousing, freight, and supply chain functions across New Zealand and internationally where required.Key Competencies:Relevant tertiary qualification.8+ years' experience in all facets of supply chain management including relevant S&OP experience.Procurement of materials from NZ and overseas (including trading commodities).Excellent MRP & ERP skills.In-depth knowledge of and experience with transportation-related functions and processes.ERP/MRP applications and implementations.Proven negotiation skills resulting in significant cost savings and measurable service improvements.Experience in multi-site management including third-party logistic providers.Strong presentation skills with advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong planning, project management, and logistic skills to meet critical milestones.Proactive and energetic with effective time management skills.Strong commercial skills to meet product costing, budgeting, and gross profit performance criteria.Attention to detail and able to maintain work performance under pressure.Strong hands-on knowledge of Lean methodologies.What Can We Offer You?Competitive remuneration.Extra leave entitlements - after your fifth anniversary, you will be entitled to an extra week's holiday leave per year and long service leave to celebrate milestone anniversaries.Up to $2000 for our 'Refer a Mate' scheme.Discounted health insurance with Southern Cross.Reward and recognition platform with company discounts from a wide variety of vendors.Opportunity for ongoing development and career progression.Relevant on-job training provided.A great social place to work and a dedicated team who will support you to extend your current skills and grow your competencies.The successful applicant will be asked to do a pre-employment drug screen and provide a satisfactory criminal conviction check.
