We currently operate and are present in Power Transmission, Generation, Distribution and Maintenance with Lines and Sub Stations.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be leading a small team of Electricians, Line Mechanics, and Trades Assistants in undertaking tasks associated with the Dunedin Lighting Contracts. The initial stage of this contract will be a two year standalone project where you and your team will be responsible for replacing luminaires; And thereafter, work will revolve around maintenance and fault response.
There is a big focus on working as part of one big national electrical services team, sharing information with supervisors, team leaders, and other team members to contribute in the overall growth of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have/be:
Certified electrician with NZ registration and current practicing licence
Proven experience in Electrical or Distribution (preferred) - Generation is acceptable
Strong traffic management skills (beneficial, but we are able to provide training)
Proven leadership skills and abilities - managing a small team
Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills
Flexible and proactive to handle the needs of clients and other relevant stakeholders
Electronically savvy
