About the role
We are currently building our new Refurbishment and Filling Plant in Christchurch and need a high performing Supervising Plant Operator to assist the Depot and National Quality Managers in creating an environment where staff exceed expectations.
The role holder will provide day to day supervision of the Plants operation team ensuring an efficient and safe LPG cylinder filling process and leading the team to meet daily operational targets.
Ensuring the highest level of service is maintained and is in line with industry standards and regulations, codes of practice, standard operating procedures and OnGas policies are all key responsibilities of this role. In this environment health & safety is essential and this role is responsible for ensuring all Plant staff maintain these to high standards while ensuring set HSE KPI’s and daily targets are met.
About you
You have proven experience as a leader with exceptional demonstrable people and motivation skills developed in a Process Plant Industry
You will be an IANZ Accredited Approved Signatory
Knowledge and understanding of the IANZ and regulatory requirements and compliance for Cylinder Testing
A strong customer focus, proactive and self-motivated with strong verbal & written communication skills
Basic knowledge of MEX
Basic level of computer proficiency
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
LPGA Cylinder Filler certified (preferred)
You are proactive and solutions focussed with great time management and planning skills.
