We are seeking to appoint a Student Centre Coordinator with excellent customer service and mentoring skills to join our team in the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
The Student Centre Coordinator will oversee the provision of customer service and general administrative and front desk services within the Student Centre including the Assignment Centre with a key responsibility for organisation and processing of applicant interviews and assessments, recruitment activities, providing cashier and ID card services, managing casual staff and student academic advisers at South Auckland and Tai Tokerau campuses and providing advice to students, applicants and visitors.
We are looking for a person who:
Has the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Computer literate and experience in using Microsoft Office suite
Coordinate and support recruitment activities on behalf of the Faculty
Ensure actions support delivery of the service promised and at all times demonstrate excellent customer service
A flexible and innovative approach with the ability to exercise initiative and contribute effectively within a team environment
Well-developed organisational and detail oriented skills with a professional focus on achieving goals
Experience as a coordinator or similar role, preferably in an education environment.
