New Zealand - Auckland, Auckland Job Summary The Role
Due to increasing workload, we have an immediate opening for an intermediate Structural Revit Technician to join AECOM on a fixed term for 18 months, based in our Auckland office.
This role will suit an intermediate level structural technician who enjoys using technology to drive efficiencies, and simplification through co-ordination of services in Revit models.
Our Building Structures team work on interesting and challenging projects predominantly within the commercial, healthcare, educational and government sectors. Working as part of as team you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and efficient production of drawings and other technical outputs, that will enhance the service offered to AECOM clients and lead to repeat business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Revit modelling, draughting and documentation.
- Developing and implementing Revit BIM standards.
- Structural steelwork and concrete detailing.
- Creating quality documentation and assisting in preparation and issuing of drawings.
Minimum Requirements
About You
An experienced Revit Technician with a buildings structures background who can demonstrate:
- 2-5 years' experience in Revit modelling, draughting and documentation.
- BIM & Revit standards & implementation.
- Sound structural detailing experience.
- Knowledge of steel members and concrete reinforcement detailing.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive approach to work load planning with the ability to meet deadlines.
