Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, the Strategy and Planning Lead is a key contributor of the development and execution of the Enterprise strategy, working with the Enterprise Director and Enterprise Leadership team to facilitate the strategic planning process, support prioritisation of initiatives, advocate for process rigour and to articulate the Enterprise strategy to the wider business, to in turn drive high quality customer outputs.

Forming part of our new Sales Enablement function, the Strategy & Planning Lead will be part of a high-performing, commercially savvy team, with a broad role remit including stakeholder involvement up to Senior Leadership Team and Exec level.

As Strategy and Planning Lead you’ll also hold accountability for facilitating the quarterly business planning process for the Enterprise business unit and interlocking with the support functions to ensure the prioritisation of critical enablers for the enterprise team from other business units that deliver to Enterprise.

What Will I Be Doing?
Supporting the Enterprise Director in the development of the Enterprise strategy, together with the Leadership team. Facilitating the quarterly business planning process for Enterprise, ensuring that initiatives are aligned to the Enterprise and company strategy, including interlock with the 18-month rolling forecast. Developing analysis and interpretation of threats and opportunities to help guide and support senior leaders’ decision making. Co-authoring materials that help to articulate the Enterprise strategy to the wider business and the board, including effective presentation decks and powerpoints. Acting as a trusted interlock with supporting business units e.g. Strategy, DX, Commercial, Transformation, Finance to represent Enterprise and prioritise work that enables delivery of the Enterprise strategy.
What Will I Bring?
Strong financial and commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of experience performing senior commercial, strategy or finance roles. Exceptional communication, collaboration and presentation skills, capable of understanding complex data and simplifying it into effective stories suitable for exec and board level consumption. Business planning expertise with a high level of organisation and influencing skills. Creative problem solving and critical thinking, highly investigative and comfortable self-analysing data. Experience of working in an Enterprise Sales environment is advantageous however not essential.
