Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a robust 5-year planning model, tracking the progress of key strategic initiatives, and delivering high-impact analysis and executive-level presentations.DescriptionThe OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join an Auckland-based leading retail, wholesale, and distribution business in a role that sits at the heart of strategic planning and executive decision-making.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a robust 5-year planning model, tracking the progress of key strategic initiatives, and delivering high-impact analysis and executive-level presentations.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToOwn the group's 5-year financial planning model and support scenario analysis, forecasting, and business case developmentDevelop dashboards and KPI frameworks to track the performance of strategic initiativesDeliver clear and insightful strategic analysis across areas such as market trends, competitor benchmarking, and investment optionsCreate high-quality executive presentations, coordinating inputs across functions to ensure accuracy and alignmentSupport cross-functional strategy and transformation projects as directed by the CFO or CEOAbout YouYou will bring at least 5 years of experience in financial modelling, strategic analysis, or commercial finance.
You're commercially astute, analytical, and highly comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
You'll also have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to build models, forecast outcomes, and translate data into compelling narratives.
Whilst having a proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A relevant professional qualification (CAANZ, CPA, CFA or similar) is preferred but not essential.
