About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic leader to join us as a Strategic Financial Accountant in a permanent, full-time position.
You will drive compliance, lead change initiatives, mentor junior staff, and enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements
5+ years senior financial accounting experience, preferably within the local government sector.
Experience in financial management, tertiary accounting and/or finance qualification, preferably with a major in accounting.
Experience in leadership, managing teams or mentoring junior staff.
Proven experience, knowledge, or understanding of budget preparation, financial reporting, and use of accounting systems.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills for building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
