Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealand's foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power, electricity, and gas, industrial and commercial sectors.We seek the services of an experienced Stores Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day running of store operations in Silverdale. The incumbent will focus on the stores team, internal and external customer satisfaction and efficiency of inventory and staff. To ensure pick lists and material requests are met in a timely and accurate manner and to provide purchasing support of inventory items for projects.Key Responsibilities:Coordinating and controlling materials and returnablesCoordinating and controlling stores materialsMonitoring stores performance i.e. pick and stock accuracy, timelinessLeading and coordinating stores teamPlanning work for staff and coordinating stores work on daily basisReviewing systems and processes, identifying and implementing improvementsPlanning and scheduling stock purchases including maintaining and operating reorder systemsEnsuring orders are correctly captured and pickedOrganising of store to ensure goods are correctly identified and storedConducting stock takes (full, cyclic, ad hoc), reconciling variances and resolving root causes of variancesMaintaining relationships with suppliers including performance management and price negotiationsControlling the yard and store including coordination of contractors with respect to repairs, maintenance and stores operationsEnsuring all Electrix policies are adhered to within stores Key Attributes:At least 3 years of warehousing/ stores experienceA qualification in Logistics or Inventory Control or similar is preferredSupervisory experienceThorough knowledge of stock control systems essentialProficiency in Microsoft OfficeSAP experience is idealProcess improvement experienceGood operational problem solving and decision-making skillsThis position is based in Silverdale.
