About the role
This is a busy and always on-the-go role. Our inwards goods team is responsible for the accurate receipting of all stock from suppliers on a day to day basis. Without stock being receipted in - it doesn't go on the shelf! This role does require efficiency and methodical working to get the stock receipted in correctly. You will work closely with many departments in store, so the role includes being able to work well within a team as well as on your own.
Other parts of the role includes:Working with SAP receipting systemStaying within Food Safety and Health and Safety Regulation
Working on ForkliftsUnloading trucks and delivery vansStock rotation and appropriate storageLoading stock to be placed on shelves.
Hours Required:
Full time and permanent only, early mornings (5am), 40-45 hours per week. Tues-Saturday
About you:
You will be a great team-player, willing to work hard, methodical and fast, getting the job done in an efficient manner.
You must be energetic, very physically fit and healthy, able to carry heavy boxes and able to work within a busy store and team.
You should have previous Store Room or Inwards Goods experience within a busy retail environment.
Ideally you will have a good knowledge in the SAP system for inwards goods, as well as previous Health and Safety training and/or First Aid Certificate.
MUST HAVE current Forklift license.
