Store Locations:

* Haven Road Store – 213 Haven Road, Beachville, Nelson 7010
* Super 7 – 100 Waikawa Road, Picton 7220

Role Overview:
We are currently hiring two Store Persons to assist with day-to-day operations at our stores. You may specify your preferred location when applying. These are customer-facing roles suited for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the daily operation of the store, including restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness
* Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle customer transactions accurately
* Greet and assist customers, respond to enquiries, and provide excellent service
* Receive and unpack deliveries, check inventory, and organise stock in storage areas
* Rotate stock and ensure products are presented neatly and within expiry dates
* Help with setting up promotional displays and signage
* Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, especially around takeaway food and beverages
* Support the Store Manager in maintaining store appearance and following security procedures

Key Requirements:

* Qualification/ work experience: Candidate should either have one of the following:

-NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 4), OR,

-At least one year of relevant experience.

* Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit to handle manual lifting and shelf-stocking duties
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player
* Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* Basic knowledge of EFTPOS/cash register operations is an advantage
* Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand

Pay: $29.66 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.00 – 60.00 per week

* Rotating roster
* Shift work
* Weekend availability
