Warehouse Operator – Wellington

Based at our warehouse in Wellington, we are looking for an experienced, proactive warehouse operator to join the team.

About the opportunity
Reporting into the Branch Manager, a unique opportunity exists for a proactive, engaging warehouse operator to assist with the day to day running of the warehouse.

This position will include some manual lifting therefore the need to be physically fit is extremely important.

To be successful in this you must be engaging, have a great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Operating the forklift and carrying out daily checks on forklifts
Organising aspects of inwards and outwards goods functions
Picking, Packing and dispatch of orders
Additional general warehouse duties as required including stocktaking and general housekeeping
Any other warehouse duties as required

Skills and Qualifications required:

To be considered for this position you must possess:

Excellent communication skills
A proactive, can do attitude and an eye for detail
Previous experience in a similar role
Comfortable with lifting 25kgs
A current forklift license and experience
