We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse and Yard Storeman to join our busy team at our Christchurch branch.

Overall Responsibility Preparing and loading orders both for deliveries and cold hires Report on daily (up-coming) bookings for fencing, toilets and events Keeping warehouse tidy and presentable Ensuring warehouse-based hire equipment is kept presentable and ready for hire Cleaning and preparing equipment for hire Assisting staff and customers with the retrieval, movement and loading of equipment Repairs and maintenance of damaged fencing, toilets and any other hire equipment at the yard Building of toilet and shower units Working with drivers to load and unload equipment including transport trucks Keeping yard and warehouse functional and directing incoming/outgoing traffic and equipment Manage stock of toilet amenities, parts and fuel for forklift Manage fencing and toilet stock – reporting to Operations Manager weekly Signing and logging work output in log daily Additional work as and when required: Some weekend work, mostly during the summer months During the summer months – On site liaison for staff at events directing placement of toilets, ensuring they are fully stocked (sanitiser, blued, deo & toilet paper) Assist with temporary fence installations and collections Devanning of containers – no driving involved
