As the Store Manager at Hell Pizza Whangerai, you will oversee the store's day-to-day operations, including the kitchen, retail service areas, and delivery services.
Your role will involve ensuring exceptional customer experiences, leading and developing the store team, maintaining operational standards, and contributing to the store's performance and compliance.
You will play a key role in operational decision-making at the store level.A Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.At least one year of relevant work experience or a level 5 qualification in Business or Hospitality.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient running of the kitchen, retail front, and delivery services.Implement and enforce Hell Pizza policies and procedures to ensure consistency and operational excellence.Address operational challenges and adjust workflows to enhance the customer experience.Make decisions on rostering, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure the smooth operation of the store.Lead, supervise, and motivate the team to ensure excellent performance and adherence to Hell Pizza standards.Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, and training in the store.Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and address team development needs to enhance skills and engagement.Make decisions on staff scheduling, task delegation, and role-specific responsibilities.Ensure all customers receive outstanding service, resolving complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.Monitor customer satisfaction and implement service improvements as needed.Manage stock levels, ensuring timely ordering of ingredients and retail products as required.Make decisions on stock control to prevent overstocking or shortages while minimising waste.Conduct regular stock audits and ensure compliance with Hell Pizza's inventory management policies.Monitor store budgets and manage costs within the guidelines set by the owners/directorsEnsure compliance with local health, safety, and food handling regulations.Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas of the store, including the kitchen, dining, and restrooms.Conduct regular safety checks and ensure staff adhere to Hell Pizza's safety protocols.Maintain Hell Pizza's product standards by ensuring kitchen and retail staff follow recipes and preparation guidelines.Monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of all food and retail items to meet customer expectations.Address product quality issues promptly to the owners/directors.Implement local marketing initiatives and promotions approved by the owners/directors.Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and suggest adjustments to maximise impact at the store level.Ensure in-store displays and promotional materials are set up.Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that reflects Hell Pizza's values.Act as a role model for staff by demonstrating professionalism, operational excellence, and customer focus.Note: While adhering to the franchise guidelines, the Store Manager will exercise autonomy in operational decision-making as required by the owners/directors.
This includes staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and customer service improvements.
