Store Manager

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily store operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Manage fuel, grocery, and hot food inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Develop and implement pricing strategies for fuel, food, and retail products to remain competitive.
* Drive sales and promotions to increase customer footfall and revenue.
* Monitor food safety and hygiene practices for hot food and beverage preparation.
* Ensure accurate cash handling, POS operations, and financial record-keeping
* Hire, train, and manage junior staff including the store persons, fostering a productive and customer-friendly team.
* Ensure compliance with fuel station safety regulations and workplace health and safety standards.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and manage deliveries efficiently.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high service standards.

Key Requirements:

* Qualification/Work experience: Candidate should have either of the following:

- NZQF Diploma or equivalent or higher, OR,

-At least three years of relevant experience.

* Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage inventory, sales, and staff effectively.
* Knowledge of fuel station safety and food hygiene regulations.
* Sales-driven mindset with a focus on profitability and growth.
