Store Manager - Hastings | Hawke's Bay We're looking for a Store Manager to lead a team and drive sales in a dynamic, customer-focused retail environment.

What's in it for you: $78k–$82k base salary + KiwiSaver Company vehicle for professional use Monday to Saturday roster with no late nights (Saturdays: 8:00am–12:30pm) Kiwi-owned and operated business with 20+ stores Close-knit, family-style team culture Key responsibilities: Drive new business development while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers – their mantra is "sales come through relationships" Work closely with a customer base primarily in the farming and horticulture industries Lead from the front with your team of 4 – this is not a "sit in the office" role!
Oversee daily store operations, including inventory and stock management Ensure health and safety compliance for all workers on site What we're looking for: Strong knowledge of, and a personal connection to, the rural or horticulture sector Established networks and local knowledge of the Hastings region A full driver's license – the role includes regular customer visits on the road Physically fit, as the role involves handling outdoor products Proven sales management experience (industry background flexible, provided you have the rural/horticultural link) Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams to achieve and exceed KPIs and sales targets If you're ready for an exciting, hands-on leadership role where you can make a real impact and build lasting customer relationships, apply now!
