Our previous manager has earned a promotion, so we're now seeking a committed, energetic and customer focussed individual to manage our bulk fertiliser store in Gisborne.

About the role

The ability to optimise the stock turn at the store, while ensuring the stock level and service targets are continually achieved, is of paramount importance.

We're sure you'll also get a lot out of building strong relationships with everyone from customers and contractors to others in the Ravensdown team. Whether you're processing fertiliser orders, selling to our shareholders or keeping track of stock levels, you'll enjoy a sense of autonomy and ownership that'll result in a real sense of satisfaction. You'll also be part of a great network of experienced Store Managers for support.

Understanding of and experience in workplace Health and Safety requirements (incident reporting, compliance, SOPs, audits etc)
Experience in fixed and mobile plant operation , with class 1,2, F and W licences
A current OSH forklift certificate
Experience in the bulk materials industry
Business unit financial management experience
Outstanding customer service experience
Good computer literacy
The ability to build strong relationships
Good time management skills
Affinity for the rural sector

Benefits

It's all about smooth, safe operations, a strong focus on service and satisfied customers. So if you can make that the case, you'll be well rewarded for your efforts. For all that you'll bring to us you can expect plenty in return including medical insurance, 5% superannuation, allowances, clothing and an ongoing commitment to your development through training and coaching.
