Mo te turanga | About the role We are seeking a Stop Smoking Practitioner that can coach and support whanau wanting to stop smoking. This role provides ongoing support and encouragement, whilst providing the best advice for whanau on the options available to them. Full support and training will be given to the successful candidate who will be joining our amazing Public Health Team, wholeheartedly committed to the wellbeing and future of our whanau. Kia ekena a angitu | To promote success in this role, you will have Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge regarding smoking cessation New Zealand health and/or social services sector experience preferred The ability to execute deliverables effectively and consistently Empathy, care and kindness for service users who smoke Passion about Maori health, wellbeing and thriving whanau The ability to provide a motivating learning environment for others Full, clean NZ Driver Licence.
