This is a busy and varied role with the key focus maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and values in accordance with Ballantynes policies.
You will work closely with Ballantynes Buyers, Departmental Managers, Warehousing team and wider Finance team.Key Objectives and Responsibilities:Providing thorough reports and accurate inventory results with appropriate recommendations on a regular basisPerform monthly reconciliation of physical inventory counts to system recordsInvestigating and resolving discrepancies in inventory recordsCoordinate and oversee the Goods Returned Documentation processAssist in month-end and year-end closing procedures including external audit.Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will also provide support to the wider Finance Team with accounts payable, year end processes and any other tasks that may be required.To be successful:2-3 years' experience in a similar roleExperience in a retail environment (desirable)High attention to detailCompetent user of Microsoft OfficeExperience using Inventory Management SystemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build strong relationshipsDemonstrable problem solving and investigation skillsStrong Time Management and Organisation skillsSolution focused and Experience in improving and developing processesDemonstrable Influencing SkillsIf successful you will enjoy staff discounts, monthly social events, well-being initiatives and exclusive staff shopping days.QualificationsBachelor degree in a business related discipline or equivalent experience (desirable)Additional InformationThis role is full time (40 hours per week).Applications close, 22 March 2025.
