An exciting opportunity has become available in their Brisbane office for an experienced, passionate and energetic State Sales Manager.

Reporting through to the sales director based in Melbourne youll be a proven leader and coach who has had success taking high performing sales teams to the next level. A future focused approach is imperative for success. Youll be driven to guide and develop your teams career aspirations while helping them lead and develop their own high performing sales teams.

The state manager role supports the sales teams by developing and implementing sales strategies that increase customer satisfaction and employee engagement too exceed the states revenue targets. Youll be an engaging and inclusive communicator who adds value to the state sales managers ensuring strategies are aligned and rolled out consistently inline with the national sales teams. Working collaboratively across all business units including Product, Marketing and Operations will be the key to your success.

Partnering with their largest customers youll ensure they feel engaged, and supported by leading your internal teams to develop cutting edge marketing, sales and sponsorship initiatives to help them remain at the top of their industry.

Other key responsibilities include;
Creating an engaging and successful team, through planning and coordinating state-wide sales activities including sales kick offs and quality training days.
Recruiting, training and motivating sales managers and sales people required to deliver the annual plans and transition the Australian sales team in line with the wider business strategy.
Coaching, mentoring and supervising direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform in their role whilst recognizing their potential.

Youll be a strong leader who is driven to lead from the front and be the face of the Queensland State Team at all National leadership functions and events. Demonstrated success building a high performing team and leading a thriving culture as well as prior leadership experience of large teams in a sales environment will be crucial for the success of this role. Youll be an independent thinker who can self-solve and challenge the status quo when necessary. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, market analysis, business planning and implementing systems and processes as well as Leadership experience in digital and online businesses would be highly desirable.
