Job Description

Based in the Hutt Valley away from the hustle and bustle of peak hour traffic, this business is looking for one or maybe two people to join their very busy team. This is not a job for someone who doesn't take great pride in their skill, but a very good pay rate is on offer for the person with the right skill set, passion, and attitude.

You will be a team player who can turn out a quality Stainless Steel product, utilising mainly TIG with 4-5 years experience and/or relevant trade qualifications in a similar role.
You will be accountable for your job, working from start to finish on high end projects for very discerning clients. Your ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and a good eye for detail will be essential in producing consistent, high end work.
A lot of the role will be workshop based but there will be some installation work. A minimum of a Restricted Class 1 NZ Driver License will be required.
This tight-knit team works well together, and they keep each other safe so to fit in you will need a healthy understanding and respect for good Health and Safety practises.
Monday to Friday operation between 730AM and PM is the norm but there may be rare weekends where a Saturday morning will be required to keep things running smoothly.
Legal entitlement to work in NZ is essential.
