About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs to play a pivotal role in shaping our regulatory strategy and maintaining strong relationships with key regulators.
About the Role
As the Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, you will support the Head of Regulatory Affairs, Change and Governance, and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure Rabobank meets its regulatory obligations.
You will be the key liaison with regulators such as the RBNZ and FMA, ensuring open, transparent, and effective communication.
This role also oversees all regulatory and industry body interactions, identifies emerging regulatory trends, and initiates actions to address future compliance requirements.
You'll play a critical role in maintaining Rabobank's reputation for integrity and regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison with the RBNZ and FMA, ensuring consistent and timely communication.
Support business units in preparing for and responding to regulatory visits.
Monitor and report on emerging regulatory trends and global developments.
Provide briefings and updates to senior management on regulatory changes.
Contribute to regulatory projects and initiatives.
Prepare and deliver regulatory reports to the Board, Committees, and Group stakeholders.
Collaborate with Rabobank Australia and New Zealand to ensure a regional approach.
About you
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong decision-making abilities in commercial environments, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
You should have sound analytical judgment and be committed to staying informed on industry trends and Rabobank's market position.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management.
Deep understanding of the New Zealand regulatory environment and global regulatory trends.
