Spray Painter / Furniture Polisher

We currently have an opportunity availablefor a Furniture Polisher / Spray Painterto join our Furniture Assembly andFinishing Team.This part of our Furniture Productionprocess takes the machined and sandedcomponents and assembles each furnitureitem as needed.The Furniture Finishing Team then takes the item and appliesStains, Sealers and Top Coats to prepare it for final assembly and dispatch.We have a well-equipped 3000sq metreworkshop and a staff of 20 - 30.The Polish shop currently runs two Seetal Downdraft Enclosed Spray booths and two open canopy booths all equipped with Air Assisted Airless painting systems. We areusing both water and spirit borne stains and finishes.Currently we are seeking to follow "Best Practice" and "Lean Principles" to enhance our effectiveness, productivity, andcustomer satisfaction.Workflow is closely managed from the Factory Manager with goals and priorities gone over every day in a morning meeting with a live computerized system to assist with what needs to beacheived.Our successful applicant should have:• Hands on practical approach.• Understanding of priorities and goals.• Previous Furniture Finishing or SprayPainting experience.
