We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and experienced Speech-language Therapist with a commitment to evidence based practice and patient centred care to work within a small team of progressive and dedicated speech-language therapists.
We currently have a full time (40 hrs a week), permanent position available for an SLT to be based in our in-patient North Shore team.
We are seeking a competent SLT, who demonstrates strong professional collegial relationships, a commitment to evidence based practice, patient centred care, passion for a rehabilitation approach and multi-disciplinary teamwork. You should have relevant clinical experience including videofluoroscopy and experience working with adult acquired swallowing and communication difficulties. Preference will be given to practitioners with at least 4 years previous clinical experience and / or on the FEES competency pathway.
Working in a supportive multidisciplinary team you will employ collaborative approaches to practice. You will be provided with clinical coaching, professional supervision and be encouraged to access both internal and external professional development opportunities.
We offer regular support for continuous professional development through in-service training
Essential Qualifications:
New Zealand professional qualification in Speech-Language Therapy, or NZSTA approval of overseas qualification
NZSTA membership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
