Specialist: Showroom (New Lynn)

Can you engage with your customers to understand their wants and needs, and help to find solutions within their budgets?As New Zealand’s largest Home Improvement Chain we are looking for a Showroom Specialist to work across our kitchens, bathrooms, appliances and storage solutions.Summary of duties:Assist in the administration and merchandising of all showroom products.Work with our customers to ensure all product recommendations fit within their available space and measurements, visionary requirements and budget specifications.Offer complete solutions to the customer, including but not limited to, paint, tiles, flooring, lighting.Offer product knowledge and recommendations customers, around additional product accessories that might be required to meet their needs and requirements.Our ideal applicant:3 years’ experience of working in a showroom department or store.3 years industry product knowledgeExperience working in a high performing and busy environment.In-depth knowledge of the products and their practical application.Basic plumbing and electrical product knowledge.High level of stock integrity awareness and merchandising standardsStrong listening skills to ensure the customers vision is fully understood.What’s in it for you:This role offers you the opportunity to be an integral part of a proudly Kiwi-owned and operated independent retail business.
