Surgical services are provided for all themain surgical specialities including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery,Trauma, Paediatric/Neonatal surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Tertiary services provided for patients from outside Canterbury includeAcute Spine, Oncological surgery and endovascular clot retrieval. Thedepartment is accredited for training by ANZCA and has a large number oftrainees.The RoleWeare seeking to fill general Specialist Anaesthetist positions based atChristchurch Hospital. We currently are seeking both full-time permanent andfixed term positions (6 to 10 months with negotiable part- or full-timeoptions). The Department will endeavour to accommodate specific clinical andnon-clinical interests.
