Auckland City, AucklandFull-time, PermanentSpecial Education AdvisorAssistive Technology Co-ordinator Role Permanent Full Time - Albany or Henderson OfficeHave a passion for supporting student's participation and access to learning?Interested in assistive technology to support learning outcomes?Enjoy teamwork with a diverse range of people and building relationships?Can work well with students, families and whanau, educators and community agencies?Looking for a friendly and supportive work place environment?We can offer all of the above to an enthusiastic, versatile and highly motivated teacher or therapist.You will work in a team to provide a range of assessment and intervention to support learners with high and often complex needs to participate and learn in educational settings.You will support schools with identifying assistive technology options and funding applications.The position will cover both North and West Auckland.The successful candidate will have:A degree in EducationCurrent Teacher registration as requiredA full current driver's licenceRelevant experience in an education setting, including an understanding of the NZ Curriculum, is essential.Knowledge of tikanga and Te Reo Maori would be an advantage, given our commitment to the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.Please apply online.
