Architects (Information & Communication Technology) About the Company Our client is part of a national government organisation, and is responsible for the provision of healthcare services to the general population within Aotearoa New Zealands' Te Waipounamu - South Island About the Role: We are recruiting for a Solutions Architect, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of national programmes and products at a regional level. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality solution architecture designs that align with enterprise standards and methodologies, supporting initiatives from conception to implementation. This role involves collaboration with project managers, performing options analysis, and leading the RFx process. You'll work within a technology landscape supporting numerous users and critical applications, with a focus on a 24x7 Services organisation across New Zealand. You may be an an experienced Senior Developer/DevOps Engineer with Solution Design experience, or a Solutions Architect with a few years of experience under your belt looking to take the the next step in your career. You will be confident in bringing your knowledge of Microsoft development frameworks and cloud platforms to support effective application delivery, and will be confident in communication and collaboration with a broad range of beoth technical and non-technical stakeholders. Day to Day Responsibilities: Collaborate with project and program managers to design and tailor national programs for the South Island. Develop solution designs, focusing on integration points, platform requirements, and customisation for the South Island. Work closely with business analysts and front-line staff to ensure fit-for-purpose Solution Delivery. Ensure solutions adhere to a cloud-first approach, with exposure to DevOps and Azure Cloud technologies. Skills & Experience Required: Background in software development, DevOps or Cloud Platforms, with experience in solution design. Strong exposure to DevOps practices and cloud technologies, preferably Azure. Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Microsoft frameworks. Experience in the health sector is preferred.
