RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy and Planning Contributing to long term marketing plans and communication strategies Manage and drive marketing communication PR and lead generation initiatives Set up and manage detailed planning of marketing campaigns and activities based on the annual or long term marketing plan Communication Develop communication initiatives in line with strategic direction Maintain and develop corporate image reputation and develop the company rsquo s brands via suitable communication activities Plan and manage internal communication in relation to corporate direction mission aims and activities Managing the development and production of marketing material and assisting Product Managers in this respect Manage the end to end process around marketing communication and lead generation campaigns and activities Liaise and build relationships with a range of stakeholders e g customers suppliers colleagues to better align communication strategies Periodically meet with General Managers and sales teams to discuss campaign progress and lead follow up Build and leverage contacts within the media to leverage communication initiatives globally Writing and distributing press releases newsletters case studies and other external communication through a range of different media Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials Liaise with event events organising teams to develop communication initiatives to support exhibitions ndash globally where required Update and manage the Corporate Identity Guide and ensure the global business is following guidelines set out in the guidelines Research Evaluating marketing campaigns Monitoring new developments in the area of marketing communication Evaluating the implementation of new marketing communication methods tools etc Reporting Provide management with reporting for campaigns and communication based initiatives Provide management with competitor based communications analysis and direction Provide the CMO with campaign effectiveness metrics to help develop more effective strategies Manage communication budgets and reporting thereof Management Setup marketing communication team based on marketing strategies and against budgets Set KPI rsquo s for staff and manage KPI rsquo s with teams REQUIREMENTS 7 years of experience in marketing and or marketing communications preferable within IT services or business software industry Degree qualified in a marketing or communication discipline Experience of setting up and managing marketing communication strategies and activities within a B2B environment Able to work in both a technical and marketing sales driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in writing and producing marketing content for communication purposes Experience of Microsoft Office products Word Excel and PowerPoint etc Combination of excellent teamwork and independent work skills Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills High levels of motivation creativity and pro activity with a can do attitude Experienced in managing and setting up a team Knowledge of supply chain and business processes within a service delivery environment is preferable Ability to travel as and when required Possesses a driving license
