Reporting to the CIO, the Solution Architect will work across several products and programmes. The role will work closely with our software development, and infrastructure services teams. There will also be a requirement to work closely with national health sector architect groups, and South Island District Health Board architects. This will entail the use of architecture frameworks and include:
Creating and maintain solution architecture artifacts
Drive the alignment of design to the documented enterprise architecture strategy.
Drive the alignment of detailed design to the documented solutions architectural design.
Leading or participating in opportunities to improve both the architecture and general IT practice.
Leading the Pegasus Architecture Group
Team guidance/mentoring
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline such as engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Expert skills in solution architecture or detailed design.
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with TOGAF or similar architectural methodology
10+ years’ experience in technical domain experience including; application development, design, architecture, and information technology.
Good knowledge of programme, product, and project management.
Solution designing on a multifaceted system environment.
Experience in guiding and advising system development and infrastructure teams.
Extensive experience in developing applications and standards.
