HPL is large enough to offer expert legal advice across multiple practice areas but small enough to be able to provide high levels of support and assistance with even the most minor claims. HPL practices in the following areas of law: Employment/ Industrial; Personal Injuries; Crime; Conveyancing; and Family, Wills & Estates.
The role
On offer is a great opportunity for a Solicitor (with 2yrs PAE) to join our successful Personal Injuries team in our Brisbane office.
This role involves running files in conjunction with a senior practitioner to provide legal services to clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
The successful candidate will receive valuable mentoring, and work on a broad range of matters which will include:
personal injury claims;
motor vehicle accident claims;
workers compensation claims; and
public liability claims.
Our highly specialised P.I. team has an exemplary record of successfully representing plaintiffs in specialist tribunals and courts, and has achieved record breaking settlements for our clients.
Role requirements
You will be a law graduate admitted to practice with a desire for a career in the Personal Injuries field of law. The role will suit a lawyer with two years post-admission experience.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received and should include a current resume, academic transcript and brief covering letter addressing the above criteria.
Job tasks and responsibilities
There will be an expectation for you to show accountability, initiative, advocacy and an ability to be able to prioritise your work to meet multiple deadlines.
Working closely with clients from varying backgrounds you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to communicate confidently at all levels.
