Ideally you will have a keen interest in music technology, DJing or Production to complement your solid background in testing.
In return, you will get to work with a great team of people actively testing new products and features on the worlds leading DJ brands.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute detailed test plans for new products.Maintain software quality for existing products.Maintain testing status/progress using standard bug tracking tools.Advise approval of final code/hardware components.Create FAQ, release notes, and support materials for end-user support groups.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseSuccessful candidates will be able to demonstrate:An excellent standard of QA and testing with 1-3 years testing experienceExperience working within a agile teamExperience seeing the full SDLC of a feature or productKnowledge of database systems / SQLManual and automated software testing experience (automation experience is desirable)UX / customer focussed testing approachGood technical investigative skillsExperience in triaging, prioritising and organising defectsStrong documentation and issue reporting skillsCommitment to continued personal developmentGreat skills to have:A degree in computer science or related fieldDJ, musician or producerKnowledge of lighting control systems or audio processing softwareAll applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (this means having NZ citizenship, permanent residency or a current work permit) and be happy to work in Auckland.BenefitsAll applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (this means having NZ citizenship, permanent residency or a current work permit) and be happy to work in Auckland.In-house espresso machine and a great selection of teasStaff discount on music instruments and hardwareCentral office location Eden TerraceFamily first work cultureFlexible working
