Within Payments Platform, we have our domestic squads that support the delivery of resilient and future-fit bulk payments capability for our business and corporate customers.As a Software Specialist, you will apply your Payment expertise and .Net test automation expertise to help lead the team in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications/automation frameworks and contribute to the overall testing processes within the squad.You'll be part of a team on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional, and performant ecosystem to our customers. You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.We advocate agile, fully cross-functional squads which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of payments experience and technical skills to support the following activities:Reviewing requirements and specifications.Creating agile testing strategies and plans.Building and supporting test automation.Building and supporting performance testing.Verifying and validating functionality being developed.Analysing and reporting test results.Attention to detail is key to identify issues within functionalities (e.g., Identify and advise on issues causality in payment transactions).Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign-off.Meeting our regulatory requirements from RBNZ and International organisations such as SWIFT.Redesigning our internal solutions to use modern cloud technology and align with ISO20022 framework.Meeting requirement of Open Banking solutions.We are looking for an individual that will champion the squad's quality goals. If you have an eye on detail and like to see how things work, you will have a lot of fun with us. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better & safer customer payment experiences. We are looking for someone who has:10+ years of test engineering experience.3+ years of experience of testing within the Payments industry.2+ years of experience of testing within the Cross border Payments industry.Experience in working on Open banking domain.Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, end to end testing and Performance testing (LoadRunner/Jmeter).Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles.Experience in developing, maintaining and executing test automation.Mentoring/guiding on standards and best practices.Experience on defining test strategies, test plans, exit reports.Experience on test estimating, negotiating and prioritizing of work.In addition, the following would be an advantage:Financial/banking domain experience.Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals.Working experience in Cloud technologies.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
