Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology) About the Organisation   Our client is an organisation focused on ensuring effective collaboration across the education and research sectors, facilitating transferral of knowledge and meaningful discoveries and outcomes.   About the Role:   As a Software Engineer in our client's Systems team, you'll play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital services. Your role will include contribution to systems automation, orchestration strategy, and upskilling the team's DevOps capability. Working closely with the Lead Developer, you will have access to a wealth of knowledge to support your own development and the achievement of organisational goals.   With Identity being a key focus of this position, you will support identity management services, collaborate with partners, and ensure security management. You will be provided with the opportunity to innovate through software development, streamline deployments, and drive maintenance of system automation code integrity.   Day to Day Responsibilities:   Contribute to systems automation and orchestration strategy. Identify and manage business risks, ensuring compliance with H&S requirements. Develop and maintain Identity Management Services for customers. Collaborate with partner organisations to enhance capabilities. Innovate using systems and software, streamline deployment models. Skills & Experience Required: Broad experience in software/application development, and ideally experience with Python. Knowledge of Systems Administration (Linux) and Automation (Ansible) Experience in Identity and Access Management preferred. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field and/or experience in the tertiary education/research sector. Strong analytical skills and an ability to multi-task while working in a collaborative manner.
