Trimble is recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Developer with 3D graphics experience to fill an opportunity in Wellington, New Zealand .
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled, motivated (C#/C++) Software Engineer with a solid understanding of 3D graphics and computational geometry, to work on an ambitious cloud compute project that is poised to transform manufacturing & construction, and reach millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-architect, develop and maintain Trimble’s computational geometry engine (C#, C++).
Assist in deploying said engine as a scalable cloud compute service.
Co-architect, develop and maintain the compute service API and SDK.
Analyze and improve performance of engine and service.

Minimum Qualifications:
Expert C#/C++ developer: 8+ years’ experience developing C#/C++/C applications.
5+ years experience developing 3D graphics and/or CAD solutions, using geometry kernels.
Experience with cross platform, multi-language development.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Math proficiency, including graphics-specific math.
Familiarity with common commercial software development best practices.
A test-driven development mentality.

Preferred Skills:
Experience deploying scalable applications on Amazon Web Services
Experience with modern web frameworks
Interest in computational geometry and design, flow based programming and/or functional programming
