The Team:What we do
As a member of our Programmes and Insights team you will be located at our Corporate Office at 32 Oxford Street. Our recently released HR self-service portal; Max is becoming more and more integrated into the overall corporate function of the Canterbury and West Coast DHB's, and is the first point of contact for a large volume of external enquiries, as well as a large offering of internal services.
We are looking for a Technical Developer to join us to further build the capability of our internal teams and provide technical support and development skills.
The Role:Where you fit in
You will be researching, designing, developing and modifying our recently released HR self-service portal; Max. delivered on the ServiceNow platform. Supporting the Senior Developer you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of technical solutions and manage competing priorities in this complex environment. You will be a part of our purpose built project team tasked with powering this digital transformation. As we expand this platform enterprise-wide, you will have the opportunity to oversee and develop across the other ServiceNow applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Activation and configuration of ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements
Assist in the identification of best practices for development of new and existing ServiceNow applications
Manage upgrades and releases to the ServiceNow platform
Development of workflows and scripts to personalise our application
Work closely with Business Analysts and the organisation to research, design, develop and deliver innovative solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and systems integration
Your skills will include the following:
Experience working with ServiceNow or similar
Very strong technical, analytical and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence to communicate with professionals across our dual organisation format
