The Role

Our Data and Insights practice specialises in business intelligence strategy, consulting and large scale implementations in order to deliver complete, versatile data and analytics solutions allowing customers to leverage the value of their data.

We are looking for a Snowflake Consultant/Data Engineer to join our team. In in this role, you will using your skills to deliver Snowflake projects for enterprise clients across a range of industries. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of enterprise cloud data solutions that are scalable and fit for purpose. This is a full time, permanent position.
The right person for this role will have:
Experience developing end to end data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud and/or Azure. An understanding of data architecture, data models, data migration, integration, analysis and visualisation Strong hands on experience delivering database solutions using advanced SQL, TSQL, Python, Scala etc. Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Databricks, AWS Redshift and Google Big Query Exposure to ETL/ELT and Governance tools such as Matillion, DBT, Alteryx, Collibra The ability to work with complex datasets and analyse modelled data to find actionable insights
The skills required are:
A minimum of five years’ experience with the SQL Server BI stack Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications Ability to develop new systems and provide end-user training High attention to detail and with the ability to analyse data Self-confidence and professional manner when working with key stakeholders as you understand and interpret requirements Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

SQL Server BI Snowflake (not schema) Tableau/Power BI T-SQL, Python ETL development in SSIS AWS and/or Azure About Us
