Mo te tunga | About the role We are seeking a permanent, fulltime SMOwith experience in Fetal Medicine and High Risk Obstetrics to join us in the Women's Health Department. You will be part of amultidisciplinary team, including obstetricians and obstetric medicine,specialist midwifery, radiology and sonography, neonatology, genetics,paediatric pathology, paediatric cardiology, surgery, and neurology. Starting as soon as possible.Clinical duties are full time (40 hours per week). You will also berequired to take part in the obstetrics and gynaecology on call roster. Personal Specification: Education & Qualifications -Professional Possession ofthe Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (CMFM) or Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) or equivalent experience Experience/Knowledge Be a specialist with skills in Fetalmedicine, ultrasound, counselling, and procedures Experience in contributing to maternal medicineservices working alongside obstetric physicians Proven clinical Obstetrics experience. Acute gynaecology experience including management ofcervical insufficiency including cerclage, and management of miscarriage Research and guideline development experience AboutChristchurch | Living in Otautahi Otautahi, Christchurch is a great place to be, live and bring up yourfamily.
