We are seeking a skilled labourer with building/construction or stonemason experience.This role is Monday to Friday full time - 7.30am to 4.30pm.6 months fixed term with the potential to be taken on permanently.You will primarily be working on heritage buildings in and around Dunedin, repairing and replacing Oamaru and bluestone, and doing structural strengthening.Duties will include:Lifting stonesFilling in stone gaps (pointing)Cleaning and prepping of stoneApplying epoxy sealersMixing, drilling, fitting stonesOther general labouring dutiesTo be a successful applicant you will be physically fit, have experience as a stone mason, hammerhand, or general construction site experience, and the ability to use handheld machinery.This role is practical and hands-on, requiring problem solving skills and initiative.To fit well with the team, we are looking for somebody who is reliable, easy-going, and keen to get stuck in and get the job done right.MUST have a Full or Restricted New Zealand Drivers Licence.Weekly payCompetitive hourly rateFull PPE gear suppliedGreat workplace cultureA health and safety focused employerIf you like the sound of this opportunity and fit the above criteria, then apply today!Please Note: To be successful, you must be a New Zealand Permanent Resident and currently reside in NZ.
